Friendship Tournament 2006

The SPE Strovolou Friendship Tournament will include Go this year as well.

The Go tournament will take place on the weekend 18-19 March. It will be a 5-round open tournament, and more details will be posted on our web site soon. The venue will once again be the building of Parnassos Strovolou.

Annual General Meeting invitation

The Cyprus Go Association AGM will take place on Saturday 28 January 2006 at Oktana Cafe in Nicosia. The AGM will commence at 4pm.

Candidacies for the Board are now being accepted. All members who have settled there membership fees are eligible and welcome to run for election.

Drago Go Software (Free)

Drago is a free Go application that can be used as an SGF editor as well as to play Go against GNU Go. GNU Go can play 19x19 games too!

Hikaru No Go DVD (English dub)

Hikaru No Go DVD is now available from Amazon.


Chiyodad's review for the English dub suggests that it is not too successful, however, the DVD includes the original Japanese dialogues so one can choose. The DVD also includes special features, and the original classes by Yukari sensei.
